Hello, this is the place where i am going to put all the comicbooks that i collected during the years and still collecting the coming years i hope, from everywhere on the internet. I lost count but there are well over 85.000 books all together and hundreds of series.

I did not scan the comics myself i only collect from the internet what allready is scanned so all credits goes to the original uploaders which names or aliasses mostly is mentioned in one of the comicbookscans.

You can download as much as you want.

You can navigate between the different comicbooks via the menu on the right of this blog, filed under different categories.

Most of the comics are in the English language but some of them are in the Dutch language (because i am from the Netherlands).
Those in the English language you can find under different categories and those in the Dutch language you can find under Dutch comics, the really old comics you can find under Vintage Comics.

Also you will find at most posts information about the comics in that post. All this information is in most cases from Wikipedia Organisation.

Al the books are in zip files, each zip file containes a different number of books, depending on the size of each individual book.
The books are files that you can easily read with cd display reader.
These files are actually also just zipfiles but with the extension cbr in stead of rar or zip.
I reccommend to read about how to configure this player and what the possibillities are if you don’t know what this reader actually is.

All the files are stored at Rapidshare.

And remember nothing can beats the feeling of reading an actual comic book in your hand, so if you like a comic and it is for sale, you better buy it.

    “When it’s no longer fun it’s time to move on” but just because something isn’t fun, that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing. I mean, why are you posting things in the first place? If it’s the same reason I am, then it’s because you want to help out. And honestly it doesn’t matter whether someone complains, or if someone gets angry at you, because this isn’t about you. This about the people who visit this site, trying to the find the very things Sparkman, Boutje, you, and everyone else post. In the the end nothing matters but them. So I don’t see why you should just stop. You should keep doing this for the people who click those links.

    Good points but Sparks makes good points on his side too. The more that this type thing continues the more it will chip away at the critical mass that makes this a worthwhile visit. I’d rather go back to e-mailing my links directly to Boutje without posting them to the public comments than go through these monthly meltdowns.

    In any event I have over 11000 cbr files to sort/rename and burn to keep me from rocking the boat for a while.

Hello Dean, my apologies man, it was wrong of me to say anything or even let things bother me. i dont undrstand why you always think that i am directing these meltdowns at you. i am not and never have pointed my finger at you are anyone specificly. please dont stop posting your links here because of me. i was wrong to ever have a meltdown as you call it anyway and i did post an apologie to you and everyone else. but from here on out ther will be no more meltdowns about anything from me. Lobito was right in what he said in his comment. i know when i am in the wrong because i feel like crap when i have let myself get out of line. and this is the 2nd time i’ve lost reason without a reason or meltdown to the best of my memory ( which is’nt all that good sometimes). i hope you and i as well as everyone can just put this behind us and continue as usual. peace…sparkman.

Hello Boutje, please forgive me for being an ahole today. i never meant to cause any problems here for you or anyone. i have been sick all night while at work thinking and hoping i can fix this. and as i told Dean there will be no more problems (or meltdowns) from me on any issue whatsoever. i hope you are not angry with me and if you are then let me take my 10 lashes so we can move on past this. i feel like such an ediot. and if you will allow me to continue sharing comics with you and everyone who wants them then i would very much like to. i just hope you and everyone can forgive me and lift this dark cloud of sadness over what a mess i have made with my big mouth. i feel very bad over all of this and hope somehow i can make things right. but i am afraid i may have to carry this wait of mistakes for a lot longer than i would like but i made my own bed now i guess i have to sleep in it. i hope everyone does’nt turn their back to me for being such a fool. but i have learned my lesson…sparkman.

Heelo Dean, no offences done to me except for the ones i’ve done to myself. as far as i am concerned everything is cool and i hope you wont leave or quit posting your links here like normal. i had my head in the wrong place if you know what i mean. you have done me no wrong Dean and i promice there will be no more meltdowns from me. it was stupid and immature to have ever made the comment that i did. i have been under a lot of stress lately which has nothing to do with things here and i guess unfortunately it all came out here unjustifyably. and there is no excuse for that, i hope you will except my apologie and keep up the good work you are doing here. i am to blame and no one else. and if we post the same links no big deal Boutje will just have twice the fun. it is always good to have back-ups. peace ok!!..sparkman.

  18. I hope that the good work that i found here continues.
    This is a great sharing comunity and fill a lot of gaps in my collection.
    I posted some things that i found missing with no intend in disincouraging nobody
    to not share.
    if i found something else that i could share and help i will ask first next time.
    Thanks to all…scanners,uploaders and everybody.
    i almost read all comics that i missed on my youth (1970-80) so it´s a fantastic
    work and should be aclaimed and applauded.

Hello Dean, ok then man if that is the way you feel, although i still dont understand why you think it was personal thing against you, because it was not! and never has been. but i hope we can let by gone be by gones and put all this mess behind us. i know i was wrong to ever have made the comment i did and i really dont know why i did to tell truth. anyway i hope things are going better for you in your own personal life. i’ll probably be putting my brother back in the hospital tommorow. things have gone in the opposite direction again and it does’nt look good. anyway i have’nt been myself lately. it is not in my character to have meltdowns especially over nothing. i have been helping out here for a long time now and i have never done that. and the same double posts have been consistant throughout. i think it because of the stress im under in the past few months that has me unbalanced and out of character. and again i wish i could make you understand ity has never been an issue with you. you are blameless. i just want the boat i rocked to get back to being smooth and steady sailing. since you still think i meant you then tell me what else i can do to make things right….sparkman.

Hello Boutje or Dean, i believe i posted a while back some horror comics called Eerie and Eerie Tales (not warren Eeerie, these were from the Golden Age) i looked throught the site yesterday under miselaneous and horror and could’nt find them anywhere also Adventures Into Darkness could’nt find those either. the reason i wanted to find them is because i found some more issues but i wanted to make sure they were not the same ones i had already uploaded. can one of you guys shed some light on this? and Dean i dont know how to use the sorted list or spinner rack. do i have to down load some sort of program for this? thanks…sparkman.

    It is a fragment of HTML code extracted from Boutje’s page(it exists on all of his pages as far as I can tell). It is run by Internet Explorer (or other html using software) so nothing special is needed.

    The code fragment is self contained and unarchived so copy it to your “my documents folder”. You can double click the filename(icon) there or you can create a desktop short-cut. Either way it will bring up the host program and display the content (sorted link list) from your Hard drive. Once a link has been clicked IE will transfer the display page from the file on your HD to the sub-page on Boutje’s blog.

    Eerie was a Avon title. I have #s 1 and 16 on my hard drive. Eerie Tales was a Super\IW comics title. I have # 10 on my HD. I would suggest that they are on the Misc-Horror sub-page or Vintage-Misc sub-page since the pub dates would be between 1945-1957. I don’t know if there were more than those few issues went by as I am not big into Horror.

  56. I found the IW/Super Eerie Tales on the Horror misc page along with one issue each of Adventures into Darkness and Eerie.

    BTW Horror is one of the Misc pages that sorts into the “D”s. Boutje based this link name on div (Diverse mayhaps?) and I have yet to fix this within the basic program.

  58. Well it has been a long time in the making. Here is what I could grab off the internet from sources. It is only Luftwaffe 1946. I have yet to find anything from Tigers of Terra or Hypersonic. I am afraid it will be the best I could do or will do unless someone decides to have mercy on me…*L* So Sparkman….grab’em while they are hot. After reading what I found, I remember why that for aircraft enthuastist, this comic is best looked at and not read unless you like to get mad or wish that you wanted to be a Nazi test pilot in a previous life. *L* Ted Namura always starts off his comic with a page or two on defending why he does what he does.

    Boutje, I sent earlier last week the 2 Luftwaffe comic manuals so I guess you can combine them into a group on their own if you like. All day I have been trying to work on these comics. Something was up with the internet..(at least mine since I was downloading at around 20kps which is downright terrible.) So I am off to bed.   62. I’ve been out of the loop for a few days due to illness and I come back to find a flood of new goodies here. :)

    I do want to make sure to thank all the people who take the time to find, sort and upload the fantastic comic files for us all here.

    I know it can at times get to be something that may not be as enjoyable as it used to be, since you don’t really seem to get any compliments on your work. I know you may not necessarily be looking for them, but it’s always nice to get some.

    So, my SINCERE THANKS to all the contributors who continue to help the site to grow!

    Sparkman, I was glad to see that you will continue posting your files here, I know long term sickness can certainly take it’s toll on someone and the stress does get to you. I don’t exactly know where the duplicated links were posted, but as you said, it’s always good to have backups instead of getting upset over them. I was glad to see that things were sorted out as amicably as they were. I have seen other sites, where things were not done as well as here and members there have walked away from the community, which ends up being a loss to everyone. My best wishes to you and your brother, I know I have not been here that long, but I have seen you make comments about him not being well.

Hello Sparkman, these Eerie issues are yet to be updated still, they are issues 8,9 and 15, the Adventures in the Dark are probably 1 or 2 issues so they will be in the Miscelanious horror section i think. And always feel free to upload comics when you are in doubt if they yes or no in a miscelanious section, i don’t keep tracks to well on all the single or 2 issues from a serie i only make a new section when there are at least 3 issues, so it’s no problem when in the miscelanious section are a few loose issues and in another section the same. Better twice the same than nothing at all.

  67. Dean, I just looked at your CW0628 Listing and I see why several of the miscellaneous categories go into the “D” section. There is also a Miscellaneous Vintage that ends up in the “V” section.
    Rather than bother to post all the breakdown info, I just felt I’d ask first if you’ve also determined the reason why and if you have, then I won’t bother you with it.
    Boutje will have to make some minor site changes if this is to be permanently resolved.

    Yes I know WHY those “Misc” sort where they do and how to crowbar them into a semi-proper order. I also know that I need to make a lot of crowbar adjustments (or Boutje would have to make a bunch of minor renames of the 3000 + sub pages) to have a perfect translation which may require re-adjustment with the next update.

    The xBasic source code is posted in the Utilities section on The Spinner Rack (http://thespinnerrack.wordpress.com/) along with the source code for a byte check File Duplication Finder and a program that illustrates switch based data extraction. As a hobby programer I delve into the mystic arts with crow-bar and sledge-hammer so Discussion is always welcome there.

    I have a sleep disorder that keeps me awake/asleep at odd times. I may go for days on 1 or 2 hour cat-naps then sleep 18 – 20 hrs a day for a few days. It effects most of my brothers and sisters and kicks in between the ages of 30 to 50 but usually between 45 – 50 on the male side of the family. Medication IF you want to spend That kind of money and take the chance of waking up to find yourself somewhere else than where you remember going to sleep at (sleepwalking/driving) or have ordered a nice new computer from QVC.

    The only way to cure ignorance is to ask questions.
    The only STUPID question is the one you DON’T ask.

    One of the benifits is having to explain a problem to someone that is not ingrained in the system and has another point of view.

    You work with safety-nets and back up everything. and you watch the monitor and say “THAT was The Stupidedest thing I’ve done in YEARS” as your handy dandy rename program renames a couple thousand Superman OTR MP3 files to superman – 1, – 2, ETC
    while wiping out the title and date of the episodes from the folder directory.

    Or better yet adding the auto delete feature to the byte check Dup finder that DELETES (NOT MOVE TO RECYCLE BIN) BOTH the files at once.

    I have done it all in my quest to keep moving up the learning curve. I just wish that understanding what happened to comics was this easy.

    Don’t be corn-fused by the “tools” you learn them as you go.

    SO what is “over” your head(grin)?

  91. Will, Sparkman and anyone else who is interested or is experiencing some confusion on how to use Dean’s CW0628-sorted.html file.

    Download the file and make a note of where you save it. You may save your files in Downloads or in another folder. It’s immaterial where it is saved as long as you know where to find it.

    Then open up your browser; Internet Explorer or Firefox, etc. and on the top menu bar click File then go to Open and go to the folder where you have saved Dean’s file so you can select it. It will then open up the html file Dean made, which lists all the subfolders on the website here, in mostly alphabetical order. Some of the Miscellaneous titles aren’t in the proper order due to naming issues.

    Once it is open in your web browser, clicking on one of the page titles will send you right to the relevant page here.

    That’s all there is to it! :) It’s a nice sorted list to find your way around the site as it lists all the subpages.

    Hope I have explained it well enough.

    Rutiger, Actually that worked like a charm. I just have to remember on saving files before I send them. Deans list is awesome.

    This brings me to another point. I wont be contributing for several days. My motherboard fried. Darned thing wouldnt shut off. I had to unplug it from the wall. Anyway against advice I switched HD’s from a HP to a E-machine. Well it worked (dont know for how long or if/when it will detonate like one of the Terminators power cells *L*) but I have to do alot of maintance and then alot of burning onto DVD’s right after I get the DVD burner drivers downloaded. Story of my life. I suspected a hard time and me having to buy another computer….Dean when you are on QVC late at night…I COULD use a early Christmas present!!! *LOL* *JK* But the hastle only lasted several hours with no noticable side effects….or hidden countdown noises!

  104. Hello Will, good luck with you computer. I think i have to bring mine for repair also because it happens too often that he just stops working while i am doing something, it looks like just the power runs out no error message or so just like stops and i can switch him back on without problems then and sometimes it works like hours or so but sometimes it stops again within a few minutes. I think it’s a hardwareproblem somewhere down the line.

    Does it only happen during downloading? I have found that everything will pause for 10 – 15 sec during a heavy downloading session. also I have found that if I am loged into wordpress that not only does it insist on IDing me as Burbank396 but also causes long delays in the pages here updating(refreashing).

  110. Hello Dean. No the weird thing is that it seems to only happen with certain things, when i am surfing on the internet, copying, downloading, uploading i never experienced that problem, but when i am busy making packages from the comics, and playing games it occurres often.
    And it’s not like the computer takes a pause or something, no it looks like just that the power is shut off ten.
    So it can be a memoryproblem too perhaps, when i use to much memory at the same time the computer stops.

    is different pass at the sorted links list. This version does not have any new pages but addresses the “The ” and “Misc” sort problems. I have looked until I have a good case of tunnel vision and need some other eyes to check out the sort.

    I was able to get (I THINK) all of the Misc pages in the “M”s but I’ll be danged if I can figure out the kink that keeps them from sorting properly. IT could be a typo that I am just not seeing(g).

    The Superman titles look like they are OK now.

    I am ignoring the “The” (ie The Flash) and sorting on the 2nd word of the title so you will see some “The”s mixed in the alphabet but “The Beast” now appeares in the Bs rather than the Ts.

    Feel Free to toss a couple of pies my direction.

    What a great site. Thank you creating and maintaining such a great collection. I have been looking for several years for any of the Jasper Jooks comic strip from the late 1940’s by Baldy Benton. It was supposed to be a competitor for L’il Abner. I’ve also been looking for an Aircel comicbook named Cat and Mouse from the 1980’s. If you have any hints, I would appreciate it.

  118. A note of interest re Megaupload

    It appears that they reset the download counters on the first of the month. A couple of days ago it was reporting that of the 700+ files there had been about 7 or 8 downloads (mostly the .rar files that RS wouldn’t take) today MU reports 0 downloads of anything.

    Also their file rename function seems to be really flakey. I can rename but it resets back to the original.

    I am back up and running (95% operational need to install the DVD drive). Sadily only to find out that my ISP is “throttling” bandwith from 8 A.M. to around 5 P.M. I found that out yesterday on my day off where I started to download at around 20KPS rather than the usual but kinda slow 150 KPS I normaly do. I have Bandwith Reader Pro and have started to record bandwith usage and availability. I read my contract however and in fine print it does say that they have the right to ‘vary’ my speed during high usage hours so I dont think I can make anything come of it. We’ll see.

    Just a comment on MegaUpload – the last collection you posted on there, I was able to get 5 files in less time than a single download would have taken me to get on RapidShare. This is because I was able to run multiple downloads simultaneously on MU where RS only allows a single download per time. I was also able to get a faster download speed on MU vs. RS and on MU I was able to use a file download resume utility which RS doesn’t allow. Plus there wasn’t that 15 minute waiting time between downloads on MU, which RS has. These results were on a standard guest account on each website.

    I agree with your comments about Megaupload. I was just shocked about the D/L reset and perplexed when the renames weren’t taking. The ads are often a bit Much but overall I like Mu more than RS and will be moving more in that direction as the paid RS account winds down early next month.

    Uploads have really been a drag lately even before the MJ spike.

    I remember having an ISP (back in the days) that had a 80 (down) / 20 (up) split. It was a major pain. Glad to hear that the upgrade/repairs are moving along and look forward to having you back full time(g)

    Today I was down in my storage unit and going through a bunch of comics trying to figure out what to dump and what to keep. Recently on some sites, you have all the Star Wars comics ever made. I downloaded them all and to my dismay all the issues to the Marvel Comics Star Wars that were available cut ALL the ads and letter columns out! Growing up and reading the letter columns was great since there was no internet back then and when you read some of the requests for stories, you have to laugh since Marvel couldn’t do a whole lot. The excitement for Star Wars can be felt in the letters, especially when they revealed news of a sequel… a little movie called “The Empire Strikes Back”.

    I grabbed my Star Wars comics that I had from the original Marvel Comics run and I scanned all the Star-Words letter colums for the issues that I had. I saved them all at a size that you can read and enjoy! In the zip file is also a notepad file of other Star Wars Marvel Comics I had but they didn’t have a letter column in them that month.

    The Marvel Comics STAR WARS “Star-Words” letter columns I have in

    6, 17, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 33, 35, 47, 50, 53, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 66, 67, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 81

    The STAR WARS Comics I have, but there are no letter columns in these issues…

    30, 32, 34, 36, 37, 49, 51, 52, 54, 65, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 98

Hello Michael, well i have some good news for you. even though i have’nt found all of the comics you are looking for i did find quite a few of The Batman ones and couple other Batmans that were not in your list. so far i have for Batman-Year 100 (i think this one’s in trade paperback), The Man Who Laughs, The Scarcrow Year One (and a few different issue of this one) Saga of Ra’s a l Ghul + year one, Jekyll and Hyde and issues 2,3 and 6 of the Mad Monk (still looking forn the fills on those) and also some bonus Batman comics you may not have Batman vs the Hulk, Batman and the Phantom Stranger, Abduction and a few other’s. i ahve’nt started the Ghost Rider/Johnny Blaze search yet but i know i saw them somwhere. i’ll get these Batman comics uploaded as soon as i can find the time. i would say by next weekend at the latest if not sooner and this will also give more time to find the other comics you are looking for…..sparkman.
