This big update is the last update, for now.
I still have more then 3000 unsorted comics in 200 series that i have to sort and prepare to put them on this site also. So that is what i am going to do for the next 6-8 weeks.
My plans are to start with new updates about the end of august or begin september, in te mean time you have to do with these, that is quite a lot actually.

Since i started this blog more then 3 months ago it is likely that Rapidshare deleted some files, because when a file is not downloaded in 3 months it will be automatically deleted.
When that is the case, and you want to download this file let me know and within a few days i will upload these comics again and refresh the links.

Hello, this is the place where i am going to put all the comicbooks that i collected during the years from everywhere on the internet. I lost count but there are well over 20.000 books all together and dozens of series.

I did not scan the comics myself i only collect from the internet what allready is scanned so all credits goes to the original uploaders which names or aliasses mostly is mentioned in one of the comicbookscans.

You can download as much as you want.

You can navigate between the different comicbooks via the menu
on the right of this blog, filed under American comics and Dutch comics.

Most of the comics are in the English language but some of them are in the Dutch language (because i am from the Netherlands).
Those in the English language you can find under American comics and those in the Dutch language you can find under Dutch comics.

Also you will find at most posts information about the comics in that post.

Al the books are in zip files, each zip file containes a different number of books, depending on the size of each individual book.
The books are files that you can easily read with cd display reader.
These files are actually also just zipfiles but with the extension cbr in stead of rar or zip.
I reccommend to read about how to configure this player and what the possibillities are if you don’t know what this reader actually is.

All the files are stored at Rapidshare.

And remember nothing can beats the feeling of reading an actual comic book in your hand, so if you like a comic and it is for sale, you better buy it.

This is just a small part of my collection, i am goin to submit many more in the coming weeks, it is only a pity that files that are not downloaded in 3 months are deleted automatically by rapidshare, so if you want to download something that isn’t there anymore just contact me and i upload the files you want again.

    This file is bigger than 100 MB. In order to download this file, either you have to become a premium user, or the owner of this file has to enable “Direct Downloads” for this specific file.

    Is it possible to split the files or enable “Direct Downloads”?

Hello, I have enabed direct download for these files, however i am not sure that it’s now working so please try again, if it is still not working i will split these files into smaller ones so you can download them, and if it works with direct download, will you let me know so i can make all the files bigger then 100 mb direct downloads to avoid this problem in the future.

  9. You are welcome, and i did the hunting also for myself offcourse because i love comics. This week i was busy organising some new comics and i found out that i have about 15.000 comics all together in more then 500 different series so there are still a lot of comics coming on this blog in the next few months.

    Geweldig leuke site. Ik probeer de delen van e Rode Rider te downloaden. Ik krijg echter iedere keer de melding dat de bestanden groter zijn dan 100 MB. Dat is al eens eerder gemeld. Hierdoor is downloaden onmogelijk.
    Verder heb ik de serie van Buck Danny en Rik Ringers een een aantal van Chick Bill voor je. (Of heb je die al?)

  18. Ja dat klopt, rapidshare doet moeilijk vaak bij free uploaden van files groter dan 100mb, ook al maak ik er een direct download van dan nog kun je sommige files niet downloaden.
    Hier is een andere link om de delen 1 voor 1 te downloaden zodat je de ontbrekende delen alsnog kunt downloaden.

    Ik ga met de zomervakantie al de series nalopen, want dan heb ik zo’n beetje toch wel alles geplaatst wat ik kan plaatsen, en de files groter dan 100mb splitsen zodat iedereen zonder problemen de files kan downloaden.

    Wat de strips betreft die je noemde, die heb ik nog niet, misschien kun je ze ook op rapidshare plaatsen en de links hier zetten dan download ik ze en zet ze ook op dit blog.

    You wouldn’t believe how much joy your blog has brought to me..this collection is awesome! The Star Wars collection is superb and I’m thrilled to be finding Suske & Wiske, De Blauwbloezen and the rode ridder here…since i grew up in belgium and grew up reading these comics…i can’t seem to download many of the suske & wiske comics though as they are over 100MB..would it be possible for you to enable “Direct Downloads” for these files?

    The problem with the files bigger then 100mb is that although i made all the files bigger then 100mb direct downloads RS still refuses some of these files to be uploaded by free users.
    However i can help you with a link where you find all the issues of Suske en Wiske 1 by 1 so you can download the issues that you still need.

  28. Continued thanks for all your work putting up these scans boutje, bloody marvelous site you have created. I’m having some problems with the Land of the Dead files however, and get file checksum errors popping up on them…just thought I’d let you know.
    Oh, and whilst I’m here I must ask if you have any scans of Scot Mccloud’s(?) Zot! published by Eclipse…it’s a long shot I know, but if you don’t ask…

    Alhoewel ik ze allemaal al heb in boekvorm , vind ik het nog handiger om ze op computer te lezen. ( zo kunnen mijn echte strips niet beschadigd worden xD )

    En voor alle mensen wie de ” Suske en Wiske” strips niet kunnen downloaden : Koop toch gewoon zo’n premium account , het is maar 7euro/maand en de derde maand is gratis!

    Ten tweede de X-Men die je gisteren (zaterdag 10 mei) hebt geplaats zijn dezelfde rar files die er al op stonden van X-Men 2099, niet de nieuwe met o.a. Astonishing X-Men
    (die wilde ik downloaden maar achteraf waren het dus de rar files van X-Men 2099).

    Het probleem is opgelost, de files waren verwisseld omdat beide uploads van de x-men uit 10 delen bestond, alleen de nieuwste uploads hadden een - en dat had ik over het hoofd gezien.
    Hopelijk kun je de astonishing serie redelijk compleet krijgen zo.

    I made all the files bigger then 100mb direct downloads, but still RS won’t alow some files bigger then 100mb to be downloaded by free users, it is a problem within RS itself that i don’t have any saying about.
    I am planning in the summer holiday to go over all the files bigger then 100mb and split them into smaller files so everyone can download them without problems.
    So i am afraid you have to be a little patience with these issues.

  44. Wow! I thought I had a lot of comics!! this is a great site! Thanks for sharing,man!! Back in the 80’s one of the most underrated but greatly told stories was William Messner-Loebs’ Journey. I have the entire run. However, I left the country and went to a part of the world where it was hard to find comic books. Uplon arriving a couple of years ago, I read that Messner-Loebs had a mini-series entitled, War Drums (an offshoot of Journey chronicling Wolverine McAlistare’s travels). This has been a very difficult and impossible find. I was wondering if you’ve heard of this or have copies of this mini to upload and share? Either way…thanks!

    I am sorry to say i never heard of the series you mentioned, therefore i don’t have them also.
    But when i find them somewehere i will upload them here offcourse.
    Be sure to come and visit now and then because i also have some new uploads waiting for the next few weeks, about 6000 comics in 70 series or so. The Spiderman series that i planned for this month alone consists out about 1500 comics to mention one of the uploads and also a lot of Walt Disney comics.
    And then still i have not all my comics uploaded in this blog, another 5000 are still waiting to be organised en uploaded to Rapidshare before i can put them on this blog.
    And offcourse i stil keep looking for new comics also so i guess i never be ready with updating this blog.

    That is no problem at all, free users can upload to Rapidhare as much as they want also only with a limited time that the file remaines on the server, i think if the file is not downloaded for a month it will be deleted for payed users this period is 3 months if they have stored more then 20 gigabyte, which is the case for me.

    As far as i know the series has ended, The series, published by Humanoïdes Associés, is complete, the last volume having been released at the end of 2003, that is what i found.
    What the Sandman issue concerns, i tried the link but it works fine, i let a friend try and it also worked with him so i don’t know what the problem can be.

With the new Hellcat series set to roll from Marvel, I would like to fill the holes in my collection, which will take a while since I only have two issues!     Bedankt voor de strips van Rik Ringers mijn favoriete detectivestrip en tevens bedankt voor de 2 Rode Ridder nummers ik zal ze deze week toevoegen.
    Waarschijnlijk bedoel je dat sommige files van de Rode Ridder groter zijn dan 100mb en daarom niet te downloaden zijn, ik ga van de zomer al de files nakijken en al de files die groter zijn dan 100mb splitten in kleinere zodat ze door iedereen zijn te downloaden.
    Komt omdat Rapidshare verkeerde informatie geeft, ze zeggen dan als je files groter dan 100mb direct downloads maakt ze wel te downloaden zijn door free users maar dat klopt dus niet want ik heb al de files groter dan 100mb direct downloads gemaakt.
    En de andere comics die je noemde heb ik zeker interesse in.
    Ik ga ook de strips van Rik Ringers apart op de site zetten los van de links in jouw bericht zoals ik de andere er ook op heb staan dus met de covers erbij enzo, ik neem dan gewoon jouw links over zodat je eventueel ook de punten ervoor bijgeschreven krijgt.

    Het ging mij om de mensen die geen account hebben bij Rapidshare en files willen downloaden die groter zijn dan 100mb.

    I made all the files bigger then 100mb direct downloads, so they will be accessable for free users also says RS, but still RS won’t alow some files bigger then 100mb to be downloaded by free users, it is a problem within RS itself that i don’t have any saying about.
    I am planning in the summer holiday to go over all the files bigger then 100mb and split them into smaller files so everyone can download them without problems.
    So i am afraid you have to be a little patience with these issues.

    Bedankt voor je werk, het is inderdaad tijdrovend werk om pdf om te zetten in cbr/cbz, ik heb ook aardig wat om moeten zetten de laatste maanden, maar het is een leuke hobby en het houdt me van de straat. Ik comprimeer de meeste ook allemaal en dat moet jpg voor jpg gebeuren maar vaak wordt een comic dan onder de 10mb in plaats van 30 mb of meer en zeker als je er 15.000 hebt ofzo scheelt dat enorm veel ruimte. Ik laat mijn pc vaak in de nacht of overdag als ik werk deze opdrachten doen zodat ik er zelf niet bij hoef te blijven dan.

    Als je het niet erg vind ga ik deze nieuwe ook allemaal in de loop van de komende week of zo ook in aparte berichten zetten met de covers zoals ik met alles heb gedaan, ik gebruik alleen al jouw linken ervoor en laat deze hier ook staan.

    “COMICS” = (Generally) Comic Books
    “GRAPHIC NOVELS” = Pretty much what they are.

    “CARTOONS” = (Usually) Single Panel ‘Gags’ as in New Yorker Magazine; &/or

    It was indeed my intention to make this blog as accessable and easy as it can be, the more people come to visit and upload the files the longer the links will be alive.
    Because RS delete links that have not be downloaded in 3 months so when that occurs i have to upload these comics again to RS.

    I agree with your definitions, when i was thinking about a name for this blog i chose comicworld because comics covers the most of the genre i think, most people that will react on the word comics will know what to find there i assumed.

    About the comics you mentioned i am happy to say that the Four Colour Comics from Dell are on my schedule to be uploaded the coming time, i see if i can give these comics priority because i have to do all the codes for this blog for the links and covers (i have 406 of them all together).
    When the weather is not to good this weekend i take some time for it so that i can upload these Four Colour Comics in the next week.

    maybe u are just clicking on the colored portion of the link that is why it is not opening, you have to copy the entire link in your browser window.

    About the Richie Rich comics, i am planning an upload from about 300 comics in the next weeks or so from Richie Rich so they probably are alleady in my posession.   145. Johan, nummer 9 bestaat uit 2 delen omdat de rar-file groterwas dan 100 mb.
    Gewoon part1 en part2 downloaden. Je krijgt dan een exe. Die exe moet je opstarten en die maakt dan de CBR aan van zeer goede kwaliteit.

    Dan krijg je Kuifje 9-part1 en Kuifje 9-part2. Samen is dat Deel 9 van Kuifje!

    Wicked site you have - I’ve been looking for some of these dutch comics for ages. I have a lot of them on the shelves back home but its not the kind of thing you can take with you overseas =). So absolutely legendary to be able to dig up old childhood memories as it’s pretty much impossible to get any of these comics outside NL/Belgium.

    One thing I ran into is that the last part of the blauwbloezen is over 100megs and doesn’t download. I’d be very grateful if it be possible to split this last file in two and up them? Also, I’ve been looking long and hard for Lucky Luke, Douwe Dabbert and Sjors & Sjimmie. Would be profound if anyone had them, particularly the last 2?

    Good to hear you are happy with the Dutch Comics on this site.
    I know the problem with Rapidshare.
    I made all the files bigger then 100mb direct downloads, according to RS they wil be accessable for free users then, but still RS won’t alow some files bigger then 100mb to be downloaded by free users, it is a problem within RS itself that i don’t have any saying about.
    I am planning in the summer holiday to go over all the files bigger then 100mb and split them into smaller files so everyone can download them without problems.
    About the comcics you mention, i am afraid i can’t help you with these, but when i find one or more i will upload them to this site offcourse.

    This week i have some unfinished business to attempt at my work which probably cost 2 days and then starts my vacation. I am planning to start at the end of this week or early next week to replace all the files that are bigger then 100 mb in 2 smaller parts, that also depends on the weather, because when the weather is good i am looking forward to go fishing, biking and kiting (not all at the same time offcourse).
    But the forecasts are not that good so presumably i will have a lot of time to replace the necessary links.
    With some good effort all the links conceirned will be replaced in the second week of july or so is my expectation, i will announce it at the first page of this blog where also the updates are placed everytime.
