Hello, this is the place where i am going to put all the comicbooks that i collected during the years and still collecting the coming years i hope, from everywhere on the internet. I lost count but there are well over 85.000 books all together and hundreds of series.

I did not scan the comics myself i only collect from the internet what allready is scanned so all credits goes to the original uploaders which names or aliasses mostly is mentioned in one of the comicbookscans.

You can download as much as you want.

You can navigate between the different comicbooks via the menu on the right of this blog, filed under different categories.

Most of the comics are in the English language but some of them are in the Dutch language (because i am from the Netherlands).
Those in the English language you can find under different categories and those in the Dutch language you can find under Dutch comics, the really old comics you can find under Vintage Comics.

Also you will find at most posts information about the comics in that post. All this information is in most cases from Wikipedia Organisation.

Al the books are in zip files, each zip file containes a different number of books, depending on the size of each individual book.
The books are files that you can easily read with cd display reader.
These files are actually also just zipfiles but with the extension cbr in stead of rar or zip.
I reccommend to read about how to configure this player and what the possibillities are if you don’t know what this reader actually is.

All the files are stored at Rapidshare.

And remember nothing can beats the feeling of reading an actual comic book in your hand, so if you like a comic and it is for sale, you better buy it.

  3. Hello Sparkman, good to hear you have made a decision, whatever that would be, it is always good to make e decision i think, better then too wait and let things go by.
    I think i found the Spider-Woman long before the summer somewhere in a torrent, sorry you’ll have to wait so long for my update, i wasn’t aware that you were looking for them.
    Tomorrow i am planning the update for the Dutch comics from which i got most torrents from you long time ago also. It took months with most torrents to upload them completely and still one isn’t ready.

  8. Hello Piratechef, i was thinking the same about Uncle Wiggily because because i couldn’t believe that there are so many of them concidering the issue 543. Never the less i will make an own entry for it under vintage comics, it is always usefull to have a specific kind of character in one place. Dell Four Colour Comics are such a large variete of different comic characters it is hard to find what you are looking for between those 1000+ issues.

    I found plenty of Adam strange related magazines included on “mystery in space” [old issues]!Also “Green lantern”,”Justice League of America”,”Hawkman”and many more like batman and superman with adam strange!
    May i post the rapidshare links here??

    So you can avoid pack 1,if you like!

  17. Thanks Nikolaos, but besides the 16 issues Green Lantern v2 the comics are allready on the site.
    But your effort is not a waste because a lot of people like to have all the comics where Adam Strange play’s a part, and this is a very easy way to become these issues without having to download more series for just a few issues with Adam Strange in it.

  22. Will and I had lunch today and I am sure that I bored him completely(grin). It was much enjoyed on my end I don’t get to talk comics history that much and took advantage of the poor fellow. The good part is that if the flatbed scanner I gave him works he will be set to roll out some shares without the problems he has had to work around lately.

    Nickolaos:
    Don’t worry about missing the non-fills it happens to ALL OF US(grin). I had seen that offering before but it never hurts to have it brought back for another pass as there are always new people dropping in.

    Hey I wasnt bored at all. I even learned a few things which for me is hard to do! *L* Scanner works very well. In one hour this morning I was able to do more than 5 hours worth on the other scanner and I didnt have to destroy the comic to “save it” digitaly. THANK YOU!!!!!!! So Sparkman will see the Dark Horse “Hypersonic” series that I have been talking about all this time. I am right now uploading to MS…should be along shortly. Again Dean…Thanks!!     Nice starter set of the OTR world but you really need Adventures by Morse – City of the Dead. Yeah it is 5 hrs (10 eps) but well worth the time and I don’t see any Corwin.

  76. Hello Hussain, the reason that you will find Dutch comics here also is that i am Dutch and i have chosen to place comics in Dutch and English language. I think most Dutch comics are not translated in English. I know there are some and they are on the site also but in some cases it’s more likely that the English comics are translated into Dutch. If you really want to read all Dutch comics, you’ll have to take Dutch lessons.

Hello Rutiger, i checked my DC One Million Archives and it turns out it is just one single cbr for each volume. i think it’s more like a compilation all crammed into one gigantic comic (one per volume). i would suggest downloading one of them and check to see if it is the same as the comics you have. the way they put this together leaves me no way to know for sure how many comics are represented. i hope this helps, sorry i could’nt be more helpful…sparkman.

Hello Boutje, i hope you are doing fine these days. and i hope you will find some comics that are in my most recent post that will be helpful. undoubtably i probably sent some stuff that you already have i just hope there are enough that you dont. and what has become the usual lately there are several issue of comics latest releases that i have been sendind over the past few months adding each issue as they come out for any particular series. i have run into a wall again for finding a lot of old stuff, a lot of my source sites have shut down are changed their format so now all i mainly have is kaskus and that’s why so many of latest post have a lot of newer comics and releases. of course there are still places like rapidlibrary.com and 4shared.com but i have pretty well cleaned most of those place out. there are still some comics at both site i probably have overlooked but the majority of what is left you already have. some folks who know of 4shared have made some posts from there that i or someone else has already added here and a few of the ones i missed. so now i need to find some new source sites. i did find a couple of more places but it seems the majority of thes are nothing more than site rips from here so that does’nt help. demonoid has been shut down for repairs so the torrents have’nt been much to collect from either. what do you type in your browser when you want find a new site to get comics from? any suggestions? well it’s starting to get cold here i believe winter is not too far away (burr!!). talk to you soon…..sparkman.

  80. Hello Sparkman, i am doing fine thanks, i hope the same goes for you.
    I think you contributed alot of comics again that aren’t on the site allready, so i am planning another huge update from all comics you contributed, possibly early next month.
    The weather is not really winterlike here, it is rather cold but that is mostly because of the strong wind and not because of the temperature.

    I usually just type comics in google or comics download or comic forums and so on and see what google come up with and visit the sites that i think maybe can be good.
    Although i most say the last months i almost downloaded only comics with torrents because searching
    is rather timeabsorbing and i use most of my sparetime for comics with preparing comics that people are contributing for the siteupdates.

    I’m down to the last two sections of Treasure Chest and I can’t get them uploaded. When I click the upload button I get an error message that says: “Navagation to the webpage has been cancelled.”
    This is on rapidshare. I emailed support but that may take a while. Does anyone have a clue as to what’s going on?

    You’re doing a terrific job – But… Something has happened with my MEGAUPLOAD Links. Seems just the last month or so, I am unable to download any MU Links -(Example: #301 Peter Panda). I’m a regular RS Premium Member, but have not been able to download any MegaUploads. Izzit me, my computer, MUp – or? – Any Ideas?

  85. Problem solved.

    I had changed a security setting in IE 8. As a result, “something” that is needed to upload to RS was not opening. I changed the setting back and everything is normal. Don’t you just love IE? The remainder of Treasure Chest will be posted shortly.

Oh and my average daily upload is about 3 to 4 gigs of OTR so it’s going to be a while before all of those folders are full. I think i am around 50 gigs right now to upload. Enjoy

  106. Sparkman, thanks for the info on the DCP The_Complete_One_Million. I took a look inside one of your archives and you are correct, this is a 3 volume set they compiled together, it’s not an official release. I have this already, but my set is approx. 50megs @ vs. the 100megs @ that yours are. So I am collecting your set as the graphics are a higher resolution.

    I much prefer the large archives vs. those that have been reduced in size. The reduced size ones are never as good of a quality and I always have to question why someone would reduce them nowadays? Data storage is cheap, so to save a few megs seems ludicrous; esp. considering the loss of picture quality these reductions then experience.

    I don’t know what the heck happened last week but it cleared up thank goodness.

    40 odd years ago I would have a halloween party and play the City of the Dead tapes during the afternoon. It went on for close to 10 years having replaced Mercury’s World of the Worlds and ending after the birth of my first born. I would listen to The Shadow, Green Hornet, Lone Ranger, re-runs at the end of the OTR era and got into tape trading in the late 1960’s.

  179. Glad to contribute. If I had a comprehensive list of what is missing I could do a lot more, I think. I have gathered about a terabyte worth of files with an eye towards making complete sets. This doesn’t mean I have eveything, of course, but I have a substantial amount to draw from. I don’t scan these myself, just troll the net and get what I can from numerous sources. However, I like being able to give back, too. You can expect more from me as time goes on.

    The Roy of the Rovers strip began on 11 September 1954 as a weekly feature in the comic magazine Tiger, debuting on the front page of the very first issue. After twenty years of continued popularity, the strip was judged successful enough to sustain its own weekly comic, which was launched on 25 September 1976. This title ran for 853 issues until 20 March 1993,[3] and featured the main Roy of the Rovers strip in addition to other football strips and features. In February 1989, the comic merged with the similarly-themed Hot Shot, and was known for a brief time as Roy of the Rovers and Hot Shot, but reverted to its original title shortly afterwards. There were also hardback annuals and holiday specials that featured a mix of reprinted and original content, and for a brief period, starting in 1986, Roy of the Rovers strips were serialised in the now-defunct Today newspaper.[4] These were all-new strips, which focused largely on the relationship between Roy and his wife rather than the action on the pitch. Between 1988 and 1993, a Best of Roy of the Rovers monthly comic was also published which reprinted older stories (although for a short time it featured fresh adventures of Billy’s Boots, Goalkeeper and Hot Shot Hamish and Mighty Mouse).

    Following the sales slump and eventual closure of the weekly title in 1993,[5] the comic was relaunched as a monthly publication in September of the same year. Sales of the comic to its targeted demographic of pre- and early-teen boys had been on a steady decline for some years so the monthly title pitched itself at a higher age group, looking to attract teen and young adult fans who had read the weekly comic in their youth. As a result, the strip featured grittier storylines, with back-up features and articles that attempted to capture the spirit of football fanzines. In addition, between January 1994 and January 1995, the monthly strips were mirrored by a weekly edition in Shoot magazine. However, this incarnation of the comic failed to attract particularly strong sales figures, and only ran for a further 19 issues, closing in March 1995.

    This appeared to be the end of the Roy of the Rovers story, until a surprise resurrection in May 1997, with short (usually only two page) strips in the BBC’s monthly Match of the Day magazine. These strips featured stories and artwork that were closer in spirit to the closing years of the weekly comic, and ran until the magazine’s close in May 2001, also spawning an annual in 2000.

    In the years following Match of the Day’s closure, there was very little active discussion of the series ever making a return to print. Its old-fashioned and wholesome tone, often espousing the virtues of fair play and strong moral character,[6] was generally at odds with the current trend for more sensationalist newspaper strips such as Striker, and television series such as Dream Team and Footballers’ Wives. It remains fondly remembered, however, by many British football fans, a fact demonstrated by the nostalgic manner in which it is still written about by sports journalists.[7]

    Although there has been no new material since 2001, reprints of the strip have been popular both online and in print. The Roy of the Rovers website has archived the entirety of the Match of the Day years’ material, in addition to excerpts of other classic strips, while in October 2007, Setanta Sports.com started to feature strips from the archive, beginning with the storyline that saw Steve Norman and Gary Kemp from pop group Spandau Ballet join Melchester Rovers.

    Meanwhile, current rights holders Egmont UK Limited published a 64-page “collectors edition” newsstand comic in April 2009,[8] collecting a number of 1980s-era Roy of the Rovers stories in addition to other backup strips from the comic. Two Best of Roy of the Rovers books, featuring successive runs of strips from the 1980s and 1970s, were published in June 2008 and 2009 respectively.

  187. OK, I found the problem with the B&B files. Somehow, those three came up corrupted on my hard-drive and repairing them only recovers half the file. So, I am simply re-aqcuiring them. Then I will make sure they are solid and re-load them to RS and send y’all the new link. I am very sorry for the dissappointment and will fix it, hopefully today.

  188. I am, getting the replacement files now and expect to reload them this eavening. I went through the entire diectory and only 116, 117 & 166 were damaged (weird!) in the V1. In V3 only 23 was damaged. I can only assume they were like that when I gabbed them up.

    New Biz. I looked through the archives and couldn’t find Fantastic Four anywhere. I am stunned! I also have a ton of FF that I can upload. First I will check all the files so we don’t do nother B&B fiasco, then I will put them in groups of 10 as that seems to be the preferred system here, then I will load them up and supply you with the links. Consider this interest on the oops-fix. I don’t have all the FF, just 95-99%, so I think this will be a sizable contribution.

    And you can upload the comics just the way you want them, because making packages is my preferred system for the site but what you place in the comments is entirely up to you. Eventually they will end up in a package when i make the update with them.

    You need to pick up the sorted link list from time to time. It makes finding a title a bit less of a problem(GRIN) but even then an item might wind up on an unexpected page(Grin-Duck-&-Run).

Hello Boutje,i’m doing fine accept for a little atrhritus, thanks for asking. and i’m am very much looking forward to you vintage updates and im sure there will be plenty of things i will like as well as everyone else. as far as my uploads being on hold thats no problem. i noticed that Grimmoer thought there were no Fantastic Fours but i know ther are a lot of those seems like i remember contributing quite a lot of them myself a long tome ago and a few more recently if im not mistaken. i’m slowly building up another upload but like most of the ones i’ve been sending lateley are newer and additions to ongoing series and latest releases. i wish i could find a gold mine of old comics that are missing and fills for more of the old ones we have here. most of the sources i had been using have shut down or went to registered users only. a couple of these i have tried to register with but have never recieved my activation e-mail to get in. dont know what the problem is there. so mostly i’m usuing Kaskus as my main source right now but they only have the latest releases. i say that because you already have all of the vintage stuff they have. oh and i know im late in saying so but thanks for the latest post from all of the other contributors. there is some nice stuff in there and i think i missed a few when they were originally added to the site in comments. talk to ya soon….sparkman.

Hello Dean and Sparkman, it can very well be that the issue Son of celluloid is somewhere or is lost between some others, i am getting to much individual issues lately to archive these in a good manner, that is too timeconsuming for me. So i pack the whole bunch and set the covers so you have an idea what to aspect from some packages, on the other hand it also can be a big surprise what’s in a packet. I found these 2 Tailgunner Jo’s also, i knew i had seen them, they are in the miscelanious section also, contributed by Lobito a while ago allready.

Hello Boutje, i’m sorry about all of the single issues. if you would like i can stop posting singles and just wait until i have more issues for a series. i thought for sure i would have something in the list of comics i posted last night in a comment, oh well at least you do have them. i will just have to look harder for some comics that are not here and try to find some of the request’s of late. still looking forward to those vintage comics. and i know there are still comics out there that we dont have here yet but it seems that all of my sources are pretty well tapped out, i believe you now have just about every comic that most all other comics site have and a lot that they dont. so you are looking good in that respect. it may not be every comic that exit’s but it is sure close to all of them that are currently scanned and available for downloading. i just have to wait and hope i can find a lot of recent scans for missing comics and fills for missing issues here on the site. that being said i think it is time for a small celebration….sparkman.

You can do with them as you like, collect them untill you have more or just upload them like you used to.

Hey Dean, well ol’buddy you really picked some doozies for request. i have been searching for those and they are pretty hard to find. i can see why you have’nt found them already. but i like a good challenge so the hunt is on! at first i was mostly helping to find those comics for you and not so much for myself but after the searches i’ve made i really want to get them for myself too and i think just about as much. i have never heard of those titles but then i have found a lot of cool stuff that i had never heard of but i like the titles, so they sound pretty cool. i did find 2 issues of Man Of War but they are from the Golden Age Years. the Protector and the Ferrett comics i have’nt found anything for yet except music related stuff or mp3 video of actual ferrett’s. and the older stuff i definetly want to find so i’ll keep looking, oh yeah! by the way how are thing’s your neck of the woods? and before i forget thanks for the Shadow radio, very cool!!……sparkman.

There were about 6 or 7 links to the grand comics database covers area so maybe they’re keeping it from going through. We commonly post more links to Rapidshare/Megaupload/ect but I know that there are wordpress rules when it comes to the number of links (or perhaps percentage?) in a post/comment.

    I like to share something that is not comic related but just want to let you enjoy these too if you are a fan of the Beatles.

    It is the THE BEATLES BOOK SIXTIES EDITIONS CD-ROM.

    This CD-Rom contains all 77 editions of the legendary The Beatles Book magazine,
    which were published between 1963 and 1969. Every pictures, every articles are included.
    A monitor set to 1024×768 is required to view the pages at their original size.

    This project was made for all the Beatlepeople who never had the chance to obtain these fab magazines originally.
    I for one was hunting these copies for decades and know how difficult it is to get them all.
    At last now everybody can enjoy and study the best magazine set ever published on the liverpudlians.

    Enjoy but please bare in mind:

    THE CD-ROM IS STRICTLY NON-COMMERCIAL AND WAS MADE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

    Instructions to install are easy.

    Just unzip the files they will unpack all in the same map, start in that map with cdstart en off you go.
    At the bottom you will see the numbers from the magazines, press an issue number and with the arrows you can look through the magazine.
    At the main screan in the upperleft you will see a picture from Beatles Christmas, when you press this you can hear the soundbooks from the Christmas flexi collection by clicking on the covers.
    To leave the application just press escape.

    I was wondering if anyone had the original ‘Power Man & Iron Fist’ series? It was the original ‘Heroes for Hire’ and had that title for the first 17 issues then the title changes to ‘Power Man & Iron Fist’.

    I loved that comic as a kids and would love to be able to see them again, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Boutje, well i downloaded the Beatles cd’s but they will not play on my pc. the program pulled up but when i clicke on play nothing happened. is there any way to change these to cbr? that’s prpbably a dumb question but i had to ask. i relly wanted to see these but im afaraid i cant in the current format. when i cliked on play it showed some covers moving around and one still one to click on but when i did i did’nt see anythung even though the bar was moving to show that it was playing. i wonder if there is anywhere else i could find these in cbr/cbz formats even pdf as a last resort…..sparkman.

  260. Hello Sparkman. Are you sure that all the files are unpacked in the same map ? And you start the program with the icon cdstart ? You must see the mainpage then and click on the issuenumbers on the bottom to view the books.
    It is impossible to change them in cbr or pdf or whatever because it’s a selfrunning program.
    I hope you will succeed to start the program and view the books and listen to the music.

I am gonna need some more time to sort out all of the vintage comics that i am planning to update the site with, it was a bit more then i expected, well over 2000 comics maybe even close to 3000. I think i need this week to sort them out and prepare them for the site and hopefully next weekend i can make the update, perhaps in 2 steps in 2 weekends. At least there is something for everyone, horror, western, romance, cartoon, superheroes. And enough i believe to keep you busy for the rest of the year.

    Actually IIRC there was one. Including the Iron Lung needing to be hand pumped while being taken by truck to the hospital in the middle of a BIG STORM (OR maybe it was a TV show).

    There were lots of PSAs in the 50’s comics about Polio. I remember the hub-bub over the vacine well and taking my sugar cubes after standing in LONG LINES.

  276. Sparkman, to read the Beatles magazines, you have to click on the issue number. These are located on the bottom white border of the intro picture not in the centre of the intro screen. They are a bit difficult to see, as the numbers are small and light in color. Restart it and take a look again, they go from 1 to 77. It’s unfortunate that whoever made this didn’t make the issue numbers a bit larger for people to read, esp. all the old folks. :)

    Also on the top left corner, you can choose between the magazines and the Xmas recordings. Click on the yellow highlighted area and it will toggle between the two choices. The Xmas recording cover pictures come up in the main screen, so that you can choose which one you want to listen to.

    FYI, the magazines are saved in a dcr file format, which is a Kodak digital camera Raw file format. However, the program has modified the files slightly from the original specification so that most graphics programs won’t open them due to the specification change.

I posted the list so that Sparkman could weed out the issues that were already here. Sad to say that there are a LOT of holes in the late DC run and none of the one-shots or mini-series.

  299. Hello Sparkman, good to read that you managed to view the Beatles books. I think it’s a must have for all musicfans, and especially Beatles fans.
    I am progressing with preparing the vintage comics that i have for the next update, when everything goes as planned i must be able to update the first part this sunday and the second part next weekend.
    I also finished another couple of torrents with a couple of thousand comics that are not on the site, many fills and also some new series, not vintage but newer ones.
    And i have still about 100 torrents waiting to be downloaded with mostly Dutch comics, and along with what you contribute and others as well we don’t have to be afraid the coming months that we run out of comics to update with.

Hello Boutje, the updates sounds good to me, it will be like 2 early Christmas’es back to back. wow you really do have a lot of comics to handle. i found some more comics today also that are not on the site. and as far as i know not anywhere else besides the place i stumbled on them. when i can get them altogether i will let you see a small list of the ones i mean because some of them could be the one you are planning to post form some of the torrents you have. and as usual it seem there is always some kind of problem to pop up which hinder my progress. i have tried all the times i could have time to upload some comics too RS and for some reason just after the upload starts it jumps to the IE message saying explorer cannot display this web page. have you had any problems like this lately whhen you upload comics at RS? i was able to get about 10 comics uploaded and then it started that message stuff and i could’nt get anything more done. same thing tonight after work, so no luck uploading. i’m not sure whether the problem is with my PC or RS. i hope it soon gets straightened out so i can start upping some stuff. but it’s like you said there are more than enough comics coming in and with all of the comics you still have in the works there is certainly no risk of the well running dry! it’s all good in the neighborhood!….sparkman.

Hello Dean, well like i told Boutje, i’m having trouble uploading at RS so there may not be any contributions from me this weekend afterall. i’m gonna keep trying though maybe the problem will be cleared up tommorow. i know i could try to upload at MegaUpload but i have trouble all the time with them. usually my PC hangs up and i have to close out and sometimes manually by pressing the ON button. dont really like doing that and then there is the random misdirects wanting to scan my computer for virues and even if you click cancle or close it try’s to do it anyway, i really dont like that junk. and lately they have started having a shorter download limit. even though i do download stuff from them i dont much care for MegaUpload. it’s a risky place!!! not cool! i dont know if any one else has experienced any of these things at Mega but i sure have. and while i surely do agree RS has made some bad moves with the download limits for free users but at least i dont have to worry to much if my PC is going to get infected when im there. i have’nt tried 4shared yet, maybe one day i’ll try to upload something there. i will keep looking for those Malibu comics. at least there will be a very nice update from Boutje this weekend i think and next weekend to if everything goes as planned. and you and the rest of the good people here are still rolling the comics in so even if my links dont make it to the party__no bigge. i’ll get them here as soon as i can get the problem fixed or RS gets there’s back up to speed. it will still be an awesome weekend i think. have a good one….sparkman.

  310. Hello Sparkman, sometimes i have these uploading problems with RS also. I set everything in motion to upload when i am sleeping or working, and when i look when i wake up or come back sometimes 1 or 2 files are uploaded and i have an error message. This night that also was the case, now it seems to work again. So i am continuing the uploads now.

  318. Hey Tim,utorrent is pretty straightforward on how to use it,and I know you can pick the files you want instead of downloading the entire folder.All you do is hit open to choose the torrent file and it will give you the list of every file in it,then just uncheck the ones you don’t need.

  319. Gentlemen, just a suggestion for some of the uploading issues with RS:

    Have any of you tried using Firefox on the site instead of that flaky IE? I’m not saying it’s a guaranteed fix, but I use Firefox for 99.99% of my web browsing now. Only on a very few sites do I use IE and that is due to that website’s goofy coding which is setup strictly for IE in some cases.

    As for MU, I definitely know that Firefox works a LOT better there than IE does. Another choice is Opera, which many people don’t really know much about, but it is also a very stable browser. I’ve used Opera on MU and it ran like a clock there as well.

    In my case, it was well worth spending a bit of time getting used to Firefox and Opera after having used IE for so long. The benefits the 2 browsers give me compared to IE are fantastic. Firefox especially can be customized to the gills with addons for your specific needs. Some of these addons automate a lot of actions and tasks, freeing you up to do something else while Firefox looks after things in the background.

    Just something to consider, esp if you are worried about popups trying to run scans, etc on your system. Both Firefox and Opera offer a fair bit of customization to block that nonsense and are a lot better when it comes to security as compared to IE.

    There are several RS and MU addons that can be used with Firefox to automate things when it comes to file uploads and downloads.

Hello Boutje, well it’s good to hear that i’m not the only one having problems at RS at least i know it’s likely them and not my computer. and very glad to know that everything is working ok again for you. i still am having problems though. today i got about three downloads in and then things went sour again. i tried again after i got home from work and just like earlier today i got 3 or 4 uploads in and boom back to that nonsense. oh well maybe i’ll get everything uploaded eventually….sparkman.

  324. I try to open up torrent files from websites that have the missing files. It opens up to frostwire, but is so slow downloading. I have a rapidshare account and have download every one of the comics of Sgt. Rock and Our Army at War. Just trying to find the missing ones. Ones I found are on websites for torrent and that is what I can’t figure out or understand. One of my friends has all of the comics and I’m trying to get with him to scan them. But so far I have not heard from him. Again to everyone here that I have download from a big THANK YOU. I grew up on Sgt.Rock and GI Combat. I had a hard time going to school always being pick on and I love Sgt. Rock saying “Nothing every Easy in Easy Company. That made me feel good in getting through school. I owe myself that to try and find all the Our Army at War and Sgt. Rock. I do keep up with everything that goes on here, cause you guys have solve a lot of question plus some great comic books. The old ones from the 60’s ,70’s and 80’s are the best. Also check out Avaxhome and Nilland. I have found some good comic books and magazine there. Will keep checking from time to time to keep up with the help and comics. Again Thank You.

  333. Dean… Hunker down. There was a time that we on the coast shrugged off Cat 1 and 2 hurricanes. They say it will be a Tropical Storm or Depression by this time tomorrow. Wind shear is also casting the storms off to the East farther than normal so it looks like wind and tidal surge will be the problems.

    I’m hunkering but I don’t trust that 90d turn they keep projecting so I keep the tv on and grit my teeth as I try to get RS to take these uploads. IF I have stepped on any toes give the credits to whoever it belongs to. I figured as long as I had these runs complete that it was time to send ‘em up.

    I don’t think that ANY of the multi-files uploads got more than a couple of minutes in before it aborted.

Tim,that’s why I suggested utorrent.It’s interface for opening torrents is close to the same as alot of p2p programs.Try installing it (less than a 1mb download) and assoc it with any torrent files.You can set it to open automatically when you download one,and when it opens,it will give you the list of what files you can get,and then you can simply cut out the files you don’t want or need.It takes a bit of time to get used to,but after a time or two,it will be as simple as surfing the web.The only bad thing about torrents is sometimes the “health” on the file is low,which can cause slow downloading no matter what your /kbps is.

    After Katrina and Gustav and a handfull of lesser storms did their damages and I had to live with-out utilities for weeks just being with-in a thousand miles worries me … I can live with the rains but the wind strikes fear thru and thru.

    There was an 80 year old Oak that dropped on the drive way that took 4 weeks to get removed before I could get off the property last year. It took 4/5 weeks to get power back after Katrina and another month for phones to come back on.

    I try to stay busy doing something to keep my mind occupied anytime they are around.

    Getting street flooding that lasts for days at a time is nearly an annual event and does not bother me TOO MUCH(g)

    The Storm is over Sparkman about now and Will should have gotten some winds but being on the NW side not flooded to badly. We wound up with a few breezes in the teens and gusts to the 20/30s. I was more worried about tree branches than anything else and got lucky.

Hello Dean, well it looks like we are all going to be ok. not to much happened here with the storm thank goodness. glad to hear it was the same for you and i am hoping and believing that Will should have the same good luck. as far as stepping on my toes, dont worry about it bud. i think i did post a few single issues here and there but you have the full sets so im cool with that. whichever ones i may have already posted can always be kept for back-ups. and i am still having upload problems at RS but i have managed to get a lot done in spite of that fact so i am going to go ahead and post what i have ready. did’nt quite get finished as a matter of fact i have enough comics left over for another round probably next week. i did get those Man of War comic uploaded though and they will be in the new links. even though they are not from the years you wanted one of them did have a Ferret story so maybe you can get some enjoyment out of them anyways…..sparkman.

Hello Boutje, well my friend i dont know the reason why but SPARKMAN NOV.10 2009 SET 6 would not take with the full address so everyone will have to add the http:// to the links to download them. i cant understand why all of the other links took except for set 6. yet another mystery for the log books. oh and you will find some titles that look like stuff that is already here but they are not. for example Warlock 5 Aircel Comics 1988 is a horror comic and not the warrior. and Wasteland is the comic series i believe someone was looking for awhile back. the ones we have here are more recent. even though i did get a lot of comics uploaded i still have a lot more i guess i will try to upload later in the week for this weekend. RS is still hit miss with the uploads…..sparkman.

    The real kicker here was the wind. Blew a 6 ft piece of siding off my house. Since its elevated I have to scrounge around tomorrow for a 15 ft ladder…. So Dean I know what you mean. Not a single bit of flooding around me. Parts of Hwy 90 however was under water early this morning but now everything is back to its usual abnormal self..*L* I had the complete set of “Team Yankee” coming in but it is a week late. Working on some others when time allows.

Just a heads-up,the School Rumble series under manga has major flaws.Almost 1500 double pages and volume 8 &9 had files numbered to where it started at the middle of the book,then went back to the beginning.But I went through and fixed the files I downloaded,and if you want,here are the fixed files:

    We never have such bad weather here, sometimes i wish i live in a place where i can have such heavy weather also, i am a weatherfanatic and love freak weather, but when i see the devastation on tv often i am glad that i live in a place where the weather is not so heavy as with you there.
