Hello, this is the place where i am going to put all the comicbooks that i collected during the years and still collecting the coming years i hope, from everywhere on the internet. I lost count but there are well over 85.000 books all together and hundreds of series.

I did not scan the comics myself i only collect from the internet what allready is scanned so all credits goes to the original uploaders which names or aliasses mostly is mentioned in one of the comicbookscans.

You can download as much as you want.

You can navigate between the different comicbooks via the menu on the right of this blog, filed under different categories.

Most of the comics are in the English language but some of them are in the Dutch language (because i am from the Netherlands).
Those in the English language you can find under different categories and those in the Dutch language you can find under Dutch comics, the really old comics you can find under Vintage Comics.

Also you will find at most posts information about the comics in that post. All this information is in most cases from Wikipedia Organisation.

Al the books are in zip files, each zip file containes a different number of books, depending on the size of each individual book.
The books are files that you can easily read with cd display reader.
These files are actually also just zipfiles but with the extension cbr in stead of rar or zip.
I reccommend to read about how to configure this player and what the possibillities are if you don’t know what this reader actually is.

All the files are stored at Rapidshare.

  3. Sparkman, Will, Boutje, all:
    I’m hunkering but I don’t trust that 90d turn they keep projecting so I keep the tv on and grit my teeth as I try to get RS to take these uploads. IF I have stepped on any toes give the credits to whoever it belongs to. I figured as long as I had these runs complete that it was time to send ‘em up.

    I don’t think that ANY of the multi-files uploads got more than a couple of minutes in before it aborted.

Tim,that’s why I suggested utorrent.It’s interface for opening torrents is close to the same as alot of p2p programs.Try installing it (less than a 1mb download) and assoc it with any torrent files.You can set it to open automatically when you download one,and when it opens,it will give you the list of what files you can get,and then you can simply cut out the files you don’t want or need.It takes a bit of time to get used to,but after a time or two,it will be as simple as surfing the web.The only bad thing about torrents is sometimes the “health” on the file is low,which can cause slow downloading no matter what your /kbps is.

    After Katrina and Gustav and a handfull of lesser storms did their damages and I had to live with-out utilities for weeks just being with-in a thousand miles worries me … I can live with the rains but the wind strikes fear thru and thru.

    There was an 80 year old Oak that dropped on the drive way that took 4 weeks to get removed before I could get off the property last year. It took 4/5 weeks to get power back after Katrina and another month for phones to come back on.

    I try to stay busy doing something to keep my mind occupied anytime they are around.

    Getting street flooding that lasts for days at a time is nearly an annual event and does not bother me TOO MUCH(g)

    The Storm is over Sparkman about now and Will should have gotten some winds but being on the NW side not flooded to badly. We wound up with a few breezes in the teens and gusts to the 20/30s. I was more worried about tree branches than anything else and got lucky.

Hello Dean, well it looks like we are all going to be ok. not to much happened here with the storm thank goodness. glad to hear it was the same for you and i am hoping and believing that Will should have the same good luck. as far as stepping on my toes, dont worry about it bud. i think i did post a few single issues here and there but you have the full sets so im cool with that. whichever ones i may have already posted can always be kept for back-ups. and i am still having upload problems at RS but i have managed to get a lot done in spite of that fact so i am going to go ahead and post what i have ready. did’nt quite get finished as a matter of fact i have enough comics left over for another round probably next week. i did get those Man of War comic uploaded though and they will be in the new links. even though they are not from the years you wanted one of them did have a Ferret story so maybe you can get some enjoyment out of them anyways…..sparkman.

Hello Boutje, well my friend i dont know the reason why but SPARKMAN NOV.10 2009 SET 6 would not take with the full address so everyone will have to add the http:// to the links to download them. i cant understand why all of the other links took except for set 6. yet another mystery for the log books. oh and you will find some titles that look like stuff that is already here but they are not. for example Warlock 5 Aircel Comics 1988 is a horror comic and not the warrior. and Wasteland is the comic series i believe someone was looking for awhile back. the ones we have here are more recent. even though i did get a lot of comics uploaded i still have a lot more i guess i will try to upload later in the week for this weekend. RS is still hit miss with the uploads…..sparkman.

    The real kicker here was the wind. Blew a 6 ft piece of siding off my house. Since its elevated I have to scrounge around tomorrow for a 15 ft ladder…. So Dean I know what you mean. Not a single bit of flooding around me. Parts of Hwy 90 however was under water early this morning but now everything is back to its usual abnormal self..*L* I had the complete set of “Team Yankee” coming in but it is a week late. Working on some others when time allows.

Just a heads-up,the School Rumble series under manga has major flaws.Almost 1500 double pages and volume 8 &9 had files numbered to where it started at the middle of the book,then went back to the beginning.But I went through and fixed the files I downloaded,and if you want,here are the fixed files:

  58. Is there an alternative site to rapidshare? I’ve been trying to download the newest Hogan’s Heroes and I keep getting error messages. The first message says that I need to try back in 2 minutes because there aren’t any open slots. After waiting the required 2 minutes, I get the message that I need to be a premium member to download the file. This is basically the luck I have been having for the past several weeks.

    I know this is not the fault of anyone here, it’s clearly rapidshare’s attempt to be all-powerful. I love this site, and have told many of my friends about it, but if rapidshare is going to be a pain in the rump, I don’t see any reason to keep coming here and torturing myself.

  63. Hello everybody, i wanted to let you know what i have scheduled for the rest of the year if everything goes as planned.
    This weekend the second part of my own vintage oploads.
    The weekend 21-22 the first part of the uploads that Sparkman contributed the last weeks.
    The weekend 28-29 the second part of the uploads that Sparkman contributed the last weeks.

  64. What do you mean by “Page Extract”? If you mean a full list of what you already have, that helps, but a full list of what is missing helps more (what is missing from the comics already posted, that is.) Cuts down on the sort and search time.

Hello KennyG, your welcome for the re-up and i know what you mean about the only one who cares. maybe im wrong but it feels sometimes that for the most part the only one who cares about what i have to upload to here in the past few months is Boutje. i know there have have been a lot of new releases lately but i have contributed over the year a pretty vasy amount of Golden, Silver and Bronze Age comics. it’s just that for a short while now i have’nt been able to find many more older goodies that are not already here. i just post what i can find. but no matter i still enjoy doing it and every once and a while i do see comments from folks like yourself who do ocassionaly find something they like. most of the places where i used to find a lot of better stuff have gone dead or require you to be registered. i have tried registering with a few places it seems that it never goes thru. i have tried to register at cOMICS Kingdom for example and even though they say they have sent me my activation number in my e-mail i have never recieved it and of course without that i still cant get in. i hope i can find some new places soon or at least the ones i can still use will have some vintage updates. spaeaking of which Boutje sure has a lot of good stuff on the way, i cant hardly wit for that…..sparkman.

Hello Boutje, your upcoming vintage updates look very good indeed. i saw a lot of stuff i like but i am puzzeled about a few of the ones that you have listed. i thought we had all of the Ripleys except for one missing issue. not puzzeled about that one just cant believe ther are actually more of those and i am pretty excited about those. but the ones in question are as follows….Crossed…Cleaners….Groom Lake…..Twilight Zone and Nightmare Theater. i posted most all of these except Twilight Zone over the course of the year and they are all complete as far as i know. i believe they are all in Miscelaneous sections. dont mean to be a pain just trying to save a little trouble with some of the ones you have already. there were some others also but i dont think they are complete so all good on the most of the rest. but i have to say i think you have outdone yoursekf with the list of cool stuff you have on the way. this will be the 2nd Christmas for me this year. thanks for all that you do….sparkman.

    What can I say I keep running across your tracks out in the boonies most every day over on KK and elsewhere. I am downloading from them when I have the option of NOT using RS due to the problems that we all are having of late. MegaUpload has been kicking a bit with slow connects thus I have been putting submisions back on RS to send up here.

    I grab some stuff from you (I finally got the Man of War issues down after to many danged tries *thanks*) but as the noble Indian has found the herds have been thined out making the hunters and gathers work harder. Our tastes differ so not all that you want does not strike my fancy nor do all of the things I submit tickle your fancy.

    it’s the old 80-20 law. 20% of us support the rest by shearching the by-ways and back-waters and bringing it back here (not named to avoid missing someone). The rest languish until they have enough spirit to take a turn at the crank.   72. Hello Sparkman. This last list is only for probably early next year because most of them are still downloading and then i have to do the preparing, this weekend is the second part of the older list from a few weeks ago, so it will be an early Christman next year for you.
    The Ripley’s i have new are 4 issues from Harvey, the ones on the site are mostly Gold Key and a few Whitman.
    Crossed i have in the miscelanious 0,1,5, so possibly a few are lost somewhere, the ones i have new are 0-7.
    Nightmare Theater probably the same at least i have 1-4 together now.
    Cleaners probably the same, at least i have 1-4 together now.
    Groom Lake i only can find 1,3, now i have 1-4 together.
    I can’t keep track sometimes of all the seperate issues, i myself wait until i have at least 3 of the same serie before i post them, so sometimes 1 or 2 got lost somewhere in the miscelanious department. I don’t mind at all, better have some issues 2 times than none at all.
    Twilight zone i have 1 Whitman issue 92.

  74. Agreed sparkman.It seems unless it is a company-wide crossover(Dark Reign) or Based on artwork.Seems most comic fan lost sight of good stories,such as 80’s X-Men.Again just opinions.

Hello Boutje, it’s no problem with me either just thought it might save you a little time and trouble. i could have sworn i had posted all of the issues from the ones i named but maybe i planned too i just have thought i did. either way it all ok. and those future post coming later in the year will still make some very nice presents no matter when they show up. and since i dont have much older stuff to post lately maybe it’s time if i asked you if there was anything you would like for me to help with or find for you. i may still have a trick or two up my sleeve…..sparkman.

Hello Boutje, i rared up alof those comics that were showing errors and then unzipped them all without a problem. but when i changed the cbr ext. to rar so i could view them in jpg the error messages started up again. i went thru about half of them and the results were the same. but it seems as if the comic was in tact when i opened the folder i had extracted it to. at least all that there was scanned of it originally. i think they could still be used though but thats up to you. if you dont want to add those anyway, i understand and it’s ok. unfortunately this a problem i am unable to fix. only thing i know i can do now is try and find as many of those bad ones somewhere else and hope for better luck. next best thing i can think of is simply make up a whole new set of different comics i had planned for later. have a good one…..sparkman.

Hello Sparkman, that is correct when i unrar them i get these messages about corrupt jpg’s, when you want to read them with a cbr reader also, when you unrar them anyway and want to view the jpg’s the pages are gone or unreadable, like for instance the Witchfinder where pages 19 and 20 are corrupt. So i think it’s best not to prepare them for the site until a good copy is found somewhere, better avoid bad copies as much as possible.
    I can’t manage always to check all the copies, especially not when i have to deal with a couple of thousand, but it’s standard procedure when i find a bad one just to delete it.
    Don’t feel the need to find good copies yourself they will eventually come, or not, just focus on what you want to do yourself.

    I went to my .rar archive folder and collected up your Adventure Comics originals then downloaded those that I was missing and used them to make up the sorted listing. I really can’t say how many are incomplete above 20 files in a .cbr archive without looking at the .cbr file itself but there are a number of issues of less than 20 pages that need to be upgraded if they were published prior to the size change to 36 pages in the 1950s.

Hello Boutje, nice updates once again my friend, but i have a question. have you removed some comics lately? i went to download some of the horror comics you added and some of them look like there are a few comics missing. and some look like the same ones that were already there, like nothing had changed. Weird Mysteries is one of the ones in question. i could have sworn you had a couple or so more of those before and the ones that are there look like what had already been there. just wondering. hope your doing well…sparkman.

  103. Hello Sparkman. No i didn’t delete any comics, and the Weird Mysteries are just the 7 issues that i have myself also, so nothing changed there, which i also can see in the history of that page.
    The only thing i do sometimes is change a serie from one place to another when i find out that a serie is more horrorlike then superherolike, i place them in the horrorsection, but never individual issues.

  126. To John: You have to hit it right. When a lot of people are using it free downloads are limited and those are the people who get knocked out of the box. I just downoaded something earlier this afternoon. I had to wait about 91 seconds before I was able to download, but that’s the way it works sometimes for the freebies. Also, you cannot always download a second file right awy. Sometimes you need to wait a few hours. What I always do is paste the link in an email and email it to myself. Then we I get the chance I download. I very rarely have problems with rapidshare. You just have to be patient. We are using it for free so we have to abide by their terms. Best time to download I find is early in the morning.

    John….I discovered a pattern with Rapidshare a while ago. On the weekends in the US at daytime…forget about it. It has actually got worse lately. Sunday I tried to get Deans list…(Thats funny)which is only 300K…I gave up after 4 hours of continuious updating. Weekends your best shot is at night in the US. I have yet to get on during the late morning-early evening hours…(Since RS is based somewhere in Europe I thnk)..During the weekdays…lets start at say around 9-10 am…the links get harder and harder to get to and when you do get them..(for me anyway) the DL speed drops from 150-100 Kps to 60kps. During the day from 11 AM to around 3 or 4 pm…if you can get a link…my dl speed is around 30 KPS. A long wait for 20 meg a shot DL’s. It starts to climb from 4-5 PM to 7-8 the next morning back to 100+ KPS and every time I clicked on the link..(If I was outside of the 15 minute mandatory break)I got the usual 60 second countdown and it started right up. I will admit that it is hard work if you first discovered this place and went…(Ohhhhh I want that and that and that…*L* Just takes time….It gets better once you “climb on top” and (like me) only get rare discoveries and new issues. If you really have alot to get from this site…and I mean alot…then it might be worth giving the US equal of whatever RS is charging for one month and devote a day or 2 or 10 to be a computer zombie and DL like no tomorrow. Hope it helps. This is just what happens to me when I start to DL from RS.

    times are CST

    12 – 5 pm is tough.
    10 am – noon is a little better
    6pm – 9pm and 6 am – 10 am work most weekdays
    9 pm to 6 am usually work first try.

    The delay for starting a free session varies depending on the size of the file to be downloaded. 45sec to as long as 180 sec (so far).

    Download speeds are all over the place. when I has a paid account I still ran into 1to3 hour sessions downloading some files.

  132. Thanks for all of your comments. I’ve been enjoying the site for about a year. I’ve often gotten the busy sign and wait…from 25 seconds to about a minute…but now I get a message that I must be a premium member or wait for an undetermined time. When I come back, same message. I got used to the slow downloads, and the wait required between downloads, but now, nothing.

    As I am not usually awake in wee hours (age needs its sleep), I’ll try some of the other times you guys suggest.

Hey sparkman,I found out what the problem with those messed up files was.It seems RS is having issues with any uploading programs right now.Several of my friends have had the same problem with files downloading corrupted unless they used the web-based program to upload.May just be a simple thing of uninstalling and re-installing it,or it may be a sign of things to come with the RS changes.

Hi, I really appreciate your site, so don’t take this question as a criticism: sometimes I’ve found the same comic that’s available here on another site, but the comic on the other site is many megabytes bigger and the jpeg images are of better quality. (The scans are of the exact same comic: the tears and creases on the pages are the same on both files) So my question is: When you gather the comics into 10 or 15 issue “bundles” are you changing the scans in any way (reducing the quality to save space) or are they the way you found them?

  150. Thanks for the quick response boutje, and Mystery Tales links worked great for me. The pack included issue #41 even tho you don’t list it. I had trouble openning that archive, so I found another copy:

    BTW this issue bears watermarks from the website source: http://www.mysterytales40.com. It’d be great if there was an unmarked scan. Also “The Travelers” should be the 3rd story, and not the last one — but that’s an easy fix.

Hello KennyG, thanks for the info about the corrupted files and problems at RS. i downloaded the newest version of Winrar and rared once again those comics i had that were saying they were corrupt. still when i changd the ext. to veiw rthem in jpeg they gave the same corrupt message. so i took the next step and found as many of the bad ones as i could and re-downloded them. i have been steady downloading comics and searching for some of the requests that have been mentioned in the last few months, so i have’nt had a chance to check the bad ones and see if re-downloading them worked but hopefully it did. if all of this is simply problems at RS then i hope it’s just a passing thing and uploading comics there will get back to normal. hope you are doing well…….sparkman.

Hello Boutje and Everyone, hope you are all doing fine. i just wanted to say hello and let you know why i have slowed down with my contributions. 1 of course is having so many corrupt files in my last uploads. needless to say that is a bit discouraging and i have been trying to spend more time searching for requests. there have been quite a few over the last months. and even though i may not always leave a comment when i see something that someone is looking for, i do take note and start looking. and i never really give up on a search even if i have no luck for several months eventually the chances are fair i will find some of them along the way. 2nd reason is i think maybe i need to take a vacation. starting to feel a little computer burnout with all of the uploading problems lately. you ever feel that way? everyone is doing such a great job with all of the combined contributions there are more than enough to go around. and then of course there are all of the cool comics you bring to us all. so now seems like as good a time as any to take a short break, but don’t worry i’m not going anywhere for to very long and i will still be scanning the comments for possible requests searches.so i think i’ll just roll up my sleeves and really dig in and try to find as many of those as i can. i will be back shortly after i feel refreashed and start posting again. maybe i can find some new sites too where i hope there will be some goldmines. talk to you soon……..sparkman.

  157. Hello Sparkman, i’m doing fine, thanks for asking. I can understand that sometimes you feel like computer burnout, it happens to all of us someday i think. Just take it easy on yourself, when working on the computer begins to look like work it’s better to ease down.
    Don’t forget to check once in awhile next month because i maybe have an early Christmas surprise for you, and for some others too offcourse.

  158. Hello Ari Emanuel, i don’t have any issues of Tarzan or Zorro in Dutch, i will look out for them though, i am busy with many torrents with Dutch comics but that can take a long time downloading often, but maybe there is something in these torrents.
